Position:

Part-Time/As-Needed - Technician- Possible full time for the right candidate.

We are looking for a cleaning Technician for our Fire/Smoke & Soot cleaning team. This position is open to men & women of any legal working age, and we are an equal opportunity employer.

Craftech Restoration, in Upton, MA, provides cleaning and mitigation services for homes & commercial properties which have been damaged by Fire/Smoke, Water, and Soot.

Wages:

We offer an hourly wage based on experience. Previous documented experience, positive references, and a great interview can provide the basis for a higher starting wage. Summary

:


Under the guidance of the Technician Crew Leader and Supervisors, the Technician will handle the day-to-day mitigation and cleaning work that each project requires.

Responsibilities

:


Mitigation & restoration-cleaning ?Remove major sources of soil and damage from properties, then follow Technician Crew Leader's instructions to clean structure and all contents from top-to-bottom, on a project-by-project basis

Training

:


Training is provided at project sites and in-house by technicians. We are happy to send our star technicians - successful, committed team members -- to certification courses in Fire/Soot/Smoke, & Water Restoration.

Experience / Education

:


There are no education or experience requirements for this position, though a high-school diploma, cleaning experience, and restoration certifications are a plus.

Commitment to customer service; positive attitude; pleasant demeanor Ability to contribute to a team, to work alone, and to follow supervisors' instructions accurately Clean, well-groomed appearance Ability to work on one's feet for extended periods of time, and to lift 50 lbs Willingness to learn new skills Willingness to work on call; some weekends/evenings requested A background check is required for all employees * Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to/from work a must.
