Job Description

We are hiring cleaner(s) to clean a retail store in Tyson's Corner mall for part time positions. The schedule is Sunday through Saturday, mornings from 9:30am pm to 1:30. Payment starts at 16.00 per hour. HOLDIAY HOURS VARY.

We are scheduling interviews immediately with the potential for an immediate start date.

For an initial phone interview please indicate the time frame in which you are available to talk. Anytime between 10am and 8pm is good. If you require a time outside of that please indicate in your response. You MUST have reliable transportation to get onsite.

BASIC JANITORIAL DUTIES:

Damp wipe all ledges, all walls, doors and door handles.

Spot clean light switches, doors, partitions and walls to remove fingerprints, spills and other markings. All graffiti will be removed from all walls, partitions and exposed surfaces.

Sweep and wet mop with germicide all floor areas. Rinse with clean water and dry to eliminate mop streaks.

Clean and polish all mirrors, soap dispensers, shelves, chrome fixtures, piping, toilet hinges and disposal containers exteriors using detergent/disinfectant.

Refill all toilet tissue, paper towels. Refill all soap dispensers and check operation.

Replace all plastic trash liners.
BREAKROOM/BACKHOUSE AREA
Remove all trash and debris from the break room and replace all plastic trash liners.
Wipe clean all countertops, tables, chairs and microwaves, refrigerators with clear water and wipe dry, leaving no streaks, smudges, dirt or stains. All countertops, tables and chairs should have a bright and clean appearance when completed.

Sweep and wet mop with germicide all floor areas. Rinse with clean water and dry to eliminate mop streaks.
INVENTORY ROOM
Remove all trash and debris from the inventory room.
Sweep and damp mop the inventory room.
RETAIL AREA (SALES FLOOR)
Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted floors, using a pile lifter to remove all embedded dirt. An edging attachment should also be used when vacuuming to clean along all baseboards and hard-to-reach areas. Carpet will be spot-cleaned where necessary.
Wipe clean, using a treated dust cloth, all countertops and telephone display areas, offices and conference rooms.

Wipe clean, using a treated dust cloth, all horizontal surfaces within reach, including window ledges, baseboards, ledges, molding and sills.

Wipe clean all glass surfaces and interior entrance doors, door handles, using an approved glass cleaner. All glass surfaces and doors will be left in a bright condition, free of all streaks and dust.

Remove all trash and debris from the retail area and replace all plastic trash liners

Thoroughly sweep all hard surface floors, using a treated mop or broom to remove all loose dirt and grit.
RETAIL AREA (SALES FLOOR)
Thoroughly clean the restroom, inventory room and break room floors, along the baseboards, tight corners and at the base of all equipment.
Trash from store removed from store and disposed in trash dumpster
