Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team in Salisbury and Brunswick area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in two child care locations, one in Salisbury and one in Brunswick, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including, restrooms, classrooms, and common spaces. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistency in service. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks. Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and within designated time frames. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Duties include: trash removal, sweeping and mopping of all hard surface flooring, vacuuming of carpets/rugs, and cleaning/sanitizing of restrooms. Flexibility to work evenings and Sundays.
