What you'll do



The Cleaning Team Lead oversees the daily execution of move-in/move-out cleans, apartment turns, clubhouses, and business locations. This role is responsible for quality control, accurate documentation, field communication, and ensuring each space is completed on time and up to standard. They serve as the primary point of contact in the field for management, property staff, and the cleaning team.

You will



Review daily and weekly schedules; confirm assignments, access details, and keys/codes for all jobs. Complete walkthroughs of finished units using company checklists to verify move-out/move-in standards. Capture clear photo documentation of key areas including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, flooring, closets, fixtures, and any damages. Ensure all work meets scope and company standards; request corrections before marking a unit complete. Communicate status updates--including completed units, delays, issues, and re-cleans--to the Cleaning Department Manager. Identify and report damages, maintenance concerns, access problems, or policy violations. Oversee clubhouse and business cleans to ensure consistency with checklists and expectations. Monitor inventory of chemicals, tools, PPE, and equipment; request restocking as needed and ensure proper storage and usage. Train and mentor Cleaning Associates on standards, pace, safety practices, and documentation requirements. Model professionalism, reliability, and strong attention to detail for the team.

What We're Looking For



1-2+ years of professional cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience (multi-family or commercial preferred). Experience leading or coordinating a team is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards. Clear and confident communication skills (text, phone, and in-person). Comfortable using a smartphone for schedules, apps, and photo documentation. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Able to lift 30-40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods. Ownership mindset with accountability for the quality of every job. Organized, proactive, and able to manage schedules and documentation effectively. Calm and solutions-oriented when schedules change or issues arise on site. Professional, respectful, and capable of representing the company well with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour
