It is a priority that we provide a clean, sanitary, comfortable and orderly environment for each client. Team members may be required to perform tasks, which involve the safe handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials. S/he is responsible for performing cleaning and disinfecting duties while meeting or exceeding Detroit Maid\'s quality standards. Such responsibilities may include:

\xef\x82\xa7 Operating various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as
\xef\x82\xa7 vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
\xef\x82\xa7 Cleaning offices, storefronts, unoccupied residential units, etc.
\xef\x82\xa7 Use safety precautions in all janitorial services
\xef\x82\xa7 Handling various cleaning and disinfecting solvents, chemicals, etc.
\xef\x82\xa7 Disposal of trash and other disposable materials.
\xef\x82\xa7 Dusting furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.
\xef\x82\xa7 Working in damp, dusty, and dirty areas
\xef\x82\xa7 Planning work schedules for client visits
\xef\x82\xa7 Sweeping and mopping floors
\xef\x82\xa7 Emptying trash containers
\xef\x82\xa7 Other duties as assigned

Cleaning Pro Qualifications:
\xef\x82\xa7 Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skills.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all procedures and guidelines
\xef\x82\xa7 Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and demonstrates initiative.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:
The Cleaning Pro will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and work a flexible schedule. S/he must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
