Job Description

Facility Cleaning o Clean and sanitize hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas throughout the day. o Maintain bathroom cleanliness, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and restocking supplies as needed. o Sweep, mop, and vacuum all required areas, ensuring floors remain safe and free of hazards. o Remove trash and recyclables regularly from all designated areas. o Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, counters, and tables. o Monitor the building for any maintenance issues and report them promptly to management. Kitchen Support o Assist with meal service, including preparation, distribution, and maintaining orderly service lines. o Ensure all kitchen and dining areas are kept clean during and after meal periods. o Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed. o Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines. o Help with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries. o Support kitchen staff with general tasks as assigned. Qualifications o Prior cleaning or custodial experience preferred. o Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. o Knowledge of basic cleaning practices, chemicals, and safety procedures. o Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. o Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. o Reliability and consistent attendance are essential.
