As a Cleaning Crew, you will play a vital role to the operations. You support our bakers by making sure that the equipment and the environment they work in stays clean and sanitized. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and proactive approach to deep cleaning and sanitation. This role is divided into 2 shift throughout the day, morning (8am-4pm) and night (4pm-12am). Availability to both shift is appreciated, but not necessary for this role.
Key Responsibility
The primary duties of the Cleaning Crew include, but are not limited to:
Kitchen Equipment Cleaning*
- Disassembling, scrubbing, and sanitizing various bakery equipment such as, mixers, bowls, and sheet pans.
- Keeping track of all the disassembled pieces. Small pieces are easily lost, and need extra care.
Kitchen & Prep Area Sanitation*
- Cleaning and sanitizing various kitchen surfaces, including stainless steel counter tops, tables, and sinks.
- Sweeping and mopping. Ensure all the floors are clean and free of debris.
- Clean and sanitize the drains.
- Wiping down and cleaning storage shelves and walk-in refrigerator/freezers.
Waste management*
- Properly disposing trash and recycling materials.
- Breaking down cardboard boxes.
Facility Support
- Restocking cleaning supplies, and report when we are low on any cleaning supplies
- Refill paper towel's and hand soaps on handwashing sinks when it's running low.
- Be ready to assist on any other cleaning duties as assigned.
- Be ready to assist lifting and moving heavy objects when needed.
- Additionally, you may be assigned to minor prep assistance depending on the needs of the store.
