Medical Equipment Cleaner

to clean, disinfect, and inspect durable medical equipment (DME). This hands-on role plays a key part in ensuring safety, cleanliness, and readiness of essential equipment for hospice patients.

Responsibilities:

Working in a warehouse, clean and disinfect home medical equipment following safety protocols and infection control procedures. Medical equipment includes hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen concentrators and other home medical equipment. Perform basic equipment checks, minor repairs, and track inventory. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, office and common areas. Use proper PPE and follow all safety guidelines. Utilize computer program to mark assets cleaned and inspected. May unload work vans with dirty equipment daily.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Basic computer and math skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to lift up to 82 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and regularly kneel, stoop, bend, reach, or crawl.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
