Evening Shift

workers with good communication skills for various evening shifts.


This is a fast-paced position that requires interacting and communicating with others while sanitizing patient rooms and public spaces throughout the hospital. Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is ideal but not required.


You will need to communicate fluently in this position as you will have direct contact with patients, families, doctors, nurses and other staff members that will need to conduct conversations with you in English.

Schedule: (Only CASUAL SHIFTS are open right now)

Afternoon/Evenings | 8-hour shifts Full-time | 60-80 Hours every two weeks Part-time | 30 - 59 Hours every two weeks

Casual | 0-8 Hours every two weeks (one weekend a month scheduled, with picking-up shift options)

Every other weekend/holiday rotations

Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards):

Wage rates start at $17.41 per hour offering more with experience. + Full pay range for this position is $15.74 to $23.62 hourly.

Qualifications

:

Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required. Ability to take initiative and work independently Excellent time management skills and detail-oriented Must be at least 18 years of age due to handling of cleaning chemicals and operating mechanical lifts High School Diploma or GED or equivalent


Duties:

Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged. Tasks include: vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms. Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids. PPE is required and providedto protect your health and safety!
