Green Logistics is a privately-owned, asset-based trucking company specializing in dedicated freight programs, intermodal and port-to-port drayage, and yard switching services.

Green Logistics currently operates forty (40) day cab tractors in the following states: Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, and Delaware. We utilize both day and evening drivers to meet the service needs of our clients.

We operate intermodal operations in Atlanta, Memphis, and Louisville. Port operations in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Norfolk. We have a large yard switcher operation in Cherokee, AL and smaller operations in other states.

Class A CDL Dedicated Driver/Yard Jockeys are paid per week and are paid by the hour (straight time; guaranteed 40 hours a week)

Class A CDL Dedicated Driver/Yard Jockey Opportunity:

We have an immediate opening in our Barrington, NJ location for a Class A CDL Dedicated Driver/Yard Jockey that may support local dedicated driving services.

The hours for this position are 6AM - 4PM, Monday through Friday with some extended or Saturday hours required.

The primary function of this position is to maneuver tractor trailers for the purpose of loading and unloading products while providing safety and security for the division yard and dock area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain and maneuver empty and loaded trailers in and around yard prior to dispatch
• Ensure the safe movement of equipment around yard and warehouse
• Maintain equipment during loading process
• Drop and hook tractor/switcher to trailer
• Coordinate equipment for maintenance and repair (must be able to perform light maintenance (non-brake issues))
• Perform DOT Pre-Trip inspection on Trailers
• Perform periodical yard checks as needed
• Provide back up support for dedicated drivers as needed

Class A CDL Dedicated Driver/Yard Jockey Benefits:

Pay Range: $26- $28/hour (straight time; guaranteed 40 hours a week)

Class A CDL Dedicated Driver/Yard Jockey Qualifications:

1+ years verifiable Class A CDL driving experience required.

1+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience switching preferred, but not required.
