SWBC is seeking a talented individual to perform functions associated with processing mortgage insurance claims.

You will be able to interact with a variety of customers at multiple levels by assisting them through the claims process. Essential duties include the following:
  • Identifies proper carrier for claim assignments and sets up new claims in claims system.
  • Closes claims in claims system and enters claim payments based on carriers\xe2\x80\x99 instructions.
  • Tracks pending claims and communicate with other department to receive confirmation pending claim will be processed under lP policy.
  • Reviews and verify the checks prior to issuance to the lenders, borrowers, TPA to include preparing unusual circumstances such as stop-payments, voids, and reissued checks.
  • Handles incoming calls to assist lender, borrowers and TPAs with submission of new claims and providing status on existing claims.
  • Processes end-of-month reports, special queries, tracking claim acknowledgments and sends supplemental documents from PAs to carriers.


Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
  • Some college courses in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least six (6) months of insurance claims or related experience.
  • Mortgage insurance experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to operate basic office equipment including a 10 key calculator by touch.
  • Must be able to type 45 WPM accurately and have basic knowledge of word processing.
