Civil Construction Contractors, LLC is an industrial contractor located in Hahnville, LA that has been in the industry for over

40 years

.

We are currently in search of experienced Civil Foremen to join our growing

TEAM

for several projects in the New Orleans/River Parish areas.

#

Foreman Candidates must be capable of the following:

#

Lead and control skilled labor and work crew engaged in activities concerned with the civil works aspects of the project.

#

Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the work.

#

Able to demonstrate good organizational skills, following safety policies & procedures and construction work practices.

#

Ability to read, interpret and follow procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.

#

Command respect of his workforce, and develop excellent working relationships with all other department personnel.

#

Must be a good communicator.

#

Able to give instructions in an efficient and effective way to his workforce.

#

Liaise with other discipline foremen to ensure the optimum utilization of available work, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.

#

Lead and supervise workers engaged in the construction of Industrial civil works.

#

Perform coordination and performance related activities such as foundation layout, form works, concreting, carpentry, & resteel.

#

Ensure crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials. Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.

#

Supervise work crews to best utilize manpower and materials, exercises discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness

#

Safety Requirements:

#

Candidates must adhere and enforce all safety rules, policies and procedures designated by safety.

#

Actively involved in JSA procedures and audits.

#

Physical Requirements:

#

Climbing of ladders, stairs, and structures.

#

Work at above grade and below grade elevations.

#

Physical lifting of objects in weight up to 60 pounds

#

All candidates must be able to pass a DISA pre-employment drug screen & alcohol test, physical and DISA background security check.
