In the role of Aviation Intern, we'll count on you to:
Gain hands-on experience working on airfield infrastructure projects, such as taxiways, runways, aprons, and drainage systems.
Support design and construction efforts in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) AA Advisory Circulars and airport engineering standards.
Assist in preparing engineering drawings and technical reports related to airfield improvements.
Collaborate with project teams and contribute to other duties as needed to support the airfield design team.
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or project manager.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with AutoCAD.
Preference is given to local candidates or those with a demonstrated interest in aviation infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
