Civil Engineer Transportation Advanced - Project Development Project Managers.
These positions offers a hybrid work schedule. They will be headquartered at and required to work from the DTSD
Green Bay, WI
office at least 2 days per week. All employees working a hybrid work schedule are generally expected to telework from within the State of Wisconsin. This topic will be discussed more at the time of the interview.

Position Summary
--------------------
These positions function as a Civil Engineer within the Project Development Section of a transportation region performing the highest degree of independent discretion and judgment on transportation improvement projects in both the construction and design phases. Under general supervision, these positions manage activities on multiple projects including those of a highly complex nature for continuity in both design and construction phases. They serve as a resource and advisor to the Supervisors and Project Leaders. For less than 25% of the time this position may also perform as a Construction and/or Design Leader directing major complex projects and assist the team by advising and coaching team members on projects.
These positions perform as a Project Manager in the design and construction of transportation improvement projects, conducting activities related to scoping, developing, monitoring, and reporting project schedules, budgets, issues and resources. The Project Manager has primary responsibility for overall project quality.
Project assignments are assigned by county within the Northeast Region. Specific county/project openings will be discussed during the interview.
Salary Information

This position is in schedule-range (14-13) with an
annual salary of $92,768 - $112,237, plus excellent benefits
. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Independent travel may be required up to 25% of the time throughout the state for operational needs and/or training.

Qualified candidate will have the following -
A valid Professional Engineering registration and be able to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if the PE registration is from another state.
