Job Overview:

As a Civil Engineer at PLUMP Engineering you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of a wide range of civil engineering projects. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects that enhance the infrastructure and quality of life in our communities. Key Responsibilities:



Project Planning and Design:

Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive engineering designs and plans for various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and drainage systems.

Engineering Analysis:

Conduct detailed engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and site assessments to ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed projects.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations and ensure project designs and plans comply with all relevant codes and standards.

Cost Estimation:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for proposed projects, taking into consideration materials, labor, and equipment.

Project Management:

Oversee project implementation from conception to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress.

Quality Control:

Maintain high-quality standards throughout project execution and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Client Interaction:

Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address concerns, provide project updates, and seek approvals as needed.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including engineering drawings, reports, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one. 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of sustainable design and environmental considerations is a plus.
