Job Description

The Community Library Network at Hayden is hiring a 19.5-hour per week Circulation Specialist position. Hayden Library is open Monday - Saturday and work hours may include evening and weekend hours.


Responsibilities include:


Performing library circulation activities including checking books in and out and shelving Assisting patrons with the use of library resources and technologies Providing technical, computer, and information systems support Adhering to library policies, procedures, and directives

This job requires strong customer service, communication, and computer skills. The successful applicant:


Understands the principles and practices of providing professional library customer service Enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people Is comfortable with technology Demonstrates a willingness to learn
