The Administrative Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, administrative functions, and strategic planning of the Crisis Intervention Center(CIC). This role ensures efficient management of internal processes, staff support, compliance with legal and funding requirements, and alignment with the center's mission to provide timely and effective crisis response services. This position will coordinate and maintain effective working relationships with governmental agencies, local and state hospitals, CCBHCs, and other entities the CIC may encounter. This position requires the ability to be on-call and holidays will be rotated among the disciplines. If there are periods when your primary responsibilities are limited, you may be asked to assist in other areas as needed to support overall operations, regardless of your specific role. This position is essential to operations and must be staffed at all times. Therefore, the current employee in this role will need to remain in place until a replacement is able to assume responsibilities.
Job Requirements
This position requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, social work or a related field.
Preferred a Master's degree in Psychology (LMLP or LCP), Counseling (LPC, LCPC), or Social Work (LMSW, LSCSW)
Must have two (3) years post degree experience in the mental health field with experience assessing and diagnosing mental health disorders.
Must have current Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board license.
Eligibility of Title XIX reimbursement is required.
Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience required.
Minimum of 3 years experience relevant healthcare settings
Experience serving persons with mental illness, alcohol and substance abuse, or co-occurring conditions.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a valid Kansas driver's license, access to reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
Must have good command of the English language; must be able to read, communicate clearly and therapeutically with person's served and staff, both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner.
Must be proficient at basic computer skills, keyboarding and word processing skills
Must be able to pass criminal background check and DCF Child & Adult Abuse Registry check.
Assignment at the CIC requires pre-employment physical, drug screening, flu immunization and TB screening prior to starting any position. All must be completed or in process/scheduled to be cleared for new hire orientation. Annual flu vaccinations and bi-annual TB screening are required.
Must be able to complete required KsTrain online trainings and program trainings.
-Must be able to perform day-to-day physical requirements of the position, including but not limited to- 20% of scheduled time; data entry, answering the phone and computer work, 80% of scheduled time; able to lift up to 50 pounds, frequently moving around the building and community, repetitive moving, carrying and lifting as the job demands.
Must be able to kneel, bend, squat, and hold on to a person, in order to restrain an out-of-control person served
Ability to work day, evening, night, weekend & holidays shifts based on the needs of the program.
Salary Range
$100,350 - $142,350
