We are seeking a passionate and energetic Church Youth Leader to inspire and guide the next generation of young believers. In this vital role, you will create a welcoming environment where youth can grow spiritually, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful relationships within the church community. Your enthusiasm, compassion, and leadership will help foster a vibrant youth ministry that encourages faith, service, and personal development.

Develop and implement engaging youth programs that align with the church's mission and values, including weekly meetings, retreats, and special events. Provide spiritual guidance and Christian counseling to support youth through life challenges, including grief, loss, or personal struggles. Mentor young people by fostering a supportive environment that encourages open communication, trust, and personal growth. Lead Bible studies, prayer groups, and faith-based discussions to deepen spiritual understanding among youth participants. Organize and coordinate youth-focused events such as community service projects, fundraising activities, and social outings to promote fellowship and social responsibility. Collaborate with parents, church staff, and volunteers to ensure a cohesive approach to youth development. Offer training sessions for volunteers and youth leaders to enhance their skills in mentoring and event planning. Advocate for youth needs within the church community by actively listening and providing tailored support.

Proven experience working with children or teenagers in a religious or educational setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with youth, parents, and church members. Knowledge of Christian teachings, counseling techniques related to grief support, hospice care awareness, and social work principles. Ability to plan engaging events that promote spiritual growth and community involvement. Experience in mentoring or coaching young individuals through various life stages. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and discretion. Familiarity with fundraising strategies to support youth programs is a plus.
