Job Opportunity: Piano accompanist for Worship

Position: Piano accompanist

Hours: Part-time (approximately 3 hours per week)

Includes Sunday morning rehearsal and worship service. Sunday service is at 11 a.m. with preparation at 10 a.m. Occasional special services as needed.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the pastor and worship team to select, prepare, and perform music that complements the worship theme. Play piano and/or organ for Sunday services, offering a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise music. Accompany and rehearse with the praise band and visiting soloists or choir as needed. Provide music for special services (e.g., Christmas Eve, weddings, and funerals, etc)
Qualifications:

Proficiency in playing piano and/or organ across diverse musical styles. A heart for ministry and a desire to enhance worship through music. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Good organizational skills Good leadership skills working with other musicians. Creativity and flexibility to adapt to the needs of the congregation. Willingness to pass a background check.
