Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in a local church. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

You will work Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Conduct custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Execute floor care procedures, including buffing and polishing as needed. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
