Jobtracks Caribbean actualmente se encuentra en la busqueda de un Chofer Categoria 8-9 para cubrir una vacante en la industria de alimentos, ubicada en Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. El candidato ideal debera transportar mercancia de manera segura y eficiente a traves de varias rutas en Puerto Rico. El objetivo principal de este puesto es asegurar la entrega oportuna y precisa de los productos, manteniendo altos estandares de seguridad y cumpliendo con todas las regulaciones de transporte.

Requisitos del Chofer Categoria 8-9

El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe tener licencia de Conducir Categoria 8-9 vigente en Puerto Rico. Experiencia previa como chofer de vehiculos de carga pesada. Conocimiento de las rutas locales y carreteras de Puerto Rico. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe tener habilidad para manejar equipos de carga y descarga. Buenas habilidades de comunicacion verbal. Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente y gestionar el tiempo de manera efectiva. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe tener licencia de la Comision de Servicios Publicos. En caso de tener licencia categoria 9, debe tener licencia TWIC. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe tener capacidad para levantar y mover objetos pesados.

Responsabilidades del Chofer Categoria 8-9

El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe conducir vehiculos de la empresa para transportar mercancias a diferentes destinos en Puerto Rico. Asegurar la carga y descarga segura de los productos, verificando que la mercancia este en buen estado y cumpla con las especificaciones del pedido. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe realizar inspecciones diarias y mantenimiento basico del vehiculo, incluyendo revisiones de aceite, neumaticos, frenos y otros componentes esenciales. Informar cualquier problema mecanico o necesidad de reparaciones al supervisor inmediato. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe seguir todas las leyes de transito y regulaciones de transporte vigentes en Puerto Rico. Mantenerse al dia con los requisitos de licencias y certificaciones necesarias para conducir vehiculos de categoria 8-9. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe mantener registros precisos de los viajes, incluyendo hojas de ruta, tiempos de entrega y cualquier incidencia durante el transporte. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe entregar los documentos requeridos a la administracion al finalizar cada jornada. Proveer un servicio al cliente excepcional, asegurando la satisfaccion del cliente con cada entrega. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe manejar cualquier queja o problema del cliente de manera profesional y oportuna, informando a la administracion si es necesario. Cumplir con todas las politicas de seguridad de la empresa, incluyendo el uso de equipos de proteccion personal y la adherencia a las practicas seguras de conduccion. El Chofer Categoria 8-9 debe participar en entrenamientos y capacitaciones de seguridad regularmente. Horario: Lunes a viernes (6:00 am - 3:00 pm, 7:00 am -4:00 pm, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Disponibilidad para trabajar horas extras y sabados de ser necesario.

The Driver Category 8-9 must have the ability to operate loading and unloading equipment. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. The Driver Category 8-9 must be licensed by the Public Service Commission. If you have a category 9 license, you must have a TWIC license. The Driver Category 8-9 must have the ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Wages $11.00 - $13.00 p/h. Full time.

Driver Category 8-9 Responsibilities

The Driver Category 8-9 must drive company vehicles to transport merchandise to different destinations in Puerto Rico. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of products, verifying that the merchandise is in good condition and meets the order specifications. The Driver Category 8-9 must perform daily inspections and basic vehicle maintenance, including checking oil, tires, brakes, and other essential components. Report any mechanical problems or repair needs to your immediate supervisor. The Driver Category 8-9 must follow all traffic laws and transportation regulations in force in Puerto Rico. Keep up to date with the licensing and certification requirements needed to drive Category 8-9 vehicles. The Driver Category 8-9 must maintain accurate trip records, including route sheets, delivery times, and any incidents during transportation. The Driver Category 8-9 must submit the required documents to the administration at the end of each shift. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with every delivery. The Driver Category 8-9 must handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, informing management if necessary. Comply with all company safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safe driving practices. The Driver Category 8-9 must participate in regular safety training and instruction. Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00 am - 3:00 pm, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Overtime and Saturday hours available if needed.
