Job Summary**
Assist in carrying out routine treatments, including preparing the patient, equipment and environment under the supervision of the Chiropractor. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Show patients to examinations rooms and prepare them for the physician. Record patient\'s medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records. May review insurance, medication and authorization criteria, to process routine authorizations.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant coursework (education) and examination by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB).

Must be familiar with various forms of exercise and have a working knowledge of anatomy/physiology, kinesiology, and injury assessment. On-the-job training will be provided as necessary.

Certified by the state board(s) as a Chiropractic Clinical Assistant when eligible. Obtains and subsequently maintains required

department specific competencies and certifications.
