An international food distributor is currently seeking a
Chinese/ English Bilingual
Sales Representative
to support their operations in the Elk Grove Village, IL office. They supply various food products and kitchen equipment to Asian cuisine restaurants and grocery stores in the Midwest. The ideal candidate has experience in working in food industry and is interested in transitioning to sales! Entry level candidates are also welcome! This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Develop new business opportunities by performing cold calls, meeting with the clients
Maintain good relationships with current customer base
Forecast and build leads for new customers and business development
Learn about the products and seasonal trends to keep updated of the industry
Manage inventory with Customer Service team
Customer support
Domestic business travel
Other duties as assigned
Sales Representative Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to speak Chinese, Japanese, or Korean is a big plus
Interest in Asian foods and cuisine
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Be able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Able to travel occasionally
Experience in sales is a plus
Must have valid driver's license, passport
This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.*
