Position Overview:

We're looking for a

Chimney & Fireplace Apprentice

to train under our lead technician.
This is a hands-on position where you'll learn the trade from the ground up -- from chimney cleaning and inspections to fireplace installation and metal fabrication.

Perfect for someone mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking to grow in a skilled trade.

Responsibilities:

Assist and learn alongside experienced technicians Help with chimney sweeps, inspections, and repairs Support installations of fireplaces, inserts, and stoves Learn to fabricate and install custom chimney caps and chase covers Maintain tools, trucks, and jobsite cleanliness Follow safety procedures and company standards Represent Chimney Techs professionally at all times

Requirements:

Valid driver's license & reliable transportation Comfortable working outdoors and on roofs Able to lift heavy objects Teachable, dependable, and positive attitude Construction, mechanical, or HVAC experience a plus -- not required Must be willing to work overtime during busy season

Schedule:

Typically Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays during peak season) 25-40 hours/week depending on workload Hours may vary seasonally

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
