What You'll Do
As a Children's Home-Based Clinician, you'll provide direct services to children and families experiencing serious emotional disturbance or mental illness. Your work will include:
Conducting intake assessments, pre-plans, and individualized service plans
Delivering therapy and support in home and community settings
Strengthening parenting skills and promoting healthy parent-child interactions
Supporting families through emotional challenges and daily stressors
Collaborating with schools, agencies, and community partners
Participating in crisis response and Mobile Intensive Crisis Stabilization Services (ICSS)
Implementing evidence-based practices aligned with person-centered planning
You'll treat both the child and family unit, helping them build resilience and achieve meaningful progress.
What You Bring
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Appropriate Michigan licensure
Experience providing child and family mental health services preferred
MI-AIMH Endorsement for Early Childhood/Infant Mental Health valued
Functional computer literacy and strong communication skills
Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use is valued
