Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational space that promotes childhood development and positive behavior. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families and may be involved in classroom activities, caregiving duties, and behavior management strategies to foster growth and learning.

Duties

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during indoor and outdoor activities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, including play-based learning for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Assist with feeding, diapering, and nap times in accordance with health and safety standards Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management techniques Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols related to childcare services Provide first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies or health issues

Qualifications

Experience working with children in daycare, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education principles Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members Experience with behavior management strategies suitable for young children Passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering a safe learning environment Relevant experience in toddler care, infant care, preschool experience, or caregiving roles is highly desirable

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
