Overview

As a Child Care Center Teacher,Assistant Teacher or Aide, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of young children. Your motivation for teaching and nurturing will create a vibrant and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. You will help implement developmentally appropriate practices that foster our children's growth andk help teach social skills to them while ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all children.

What you'll do

Help with lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards, focusing on reading, math, and overall childhood development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management strategies. Foster effective communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and classroom activities. Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt curriculum development as needed to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with director and coworkers to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience within the center. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets all childcare regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends and methodologies.

Skills

Preferred strong background in early childhood education with experience in lesson planning and curriculum development. Demonstrates ability in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior among children. Preferred experience working with children of various abilities, including those with disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and coworkers alike. Familiarity with infant and toddler care practices and preschool experience is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. Ability to work indoors and outdoors and engage in the physical demands of caring for the children in the center.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
