Come Join our Child Care Center Team here at SMH!!!
Sarasota Memorial Health Care System established its first child care center in 1973 as a service to employees and their children. The plan was to develop programs that would be accessible and affordable to employees, that would act as a recruitment and retention tool, and that would provide young children with the finest available child care environment and experiences. Currently we have two licensed centers providing child care for children age six weeks to 5th grade. Our staff seek to provide opportunities for the children to grow and learn in each of these areas according to his or her individual needs and abilities. Teachers guide and enchance this process through planned activites and materials. Through these diverse activities, staff help children develop a positive self-image along with a deseire to explore and question the world around them.
