What You Will Do - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


This role is the "face' of our agency. As a Child Welfare Caseworker in our Intake & Investigations are, you would be the first person to contact a family to begin intake assessments, initiate investigations, and assess the safety of children in residential settings. Additionally, our Caseworkers will collaborate and communicate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the well-being of children under our care.

Investigate allegations in areas such as abuse, neglect, dependency, etc. Interview children, families, witnesses, and other sources to help assist risk. Counsel families and refer them to crisis services. Provide strong documentation of findings. Other duties as assigned.

What will make you successful in this role:



Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Experience in social work and case management. Proficient in casework and assessment techniques. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills

What you bring to the role:



Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice/criminology, human relations, counseling, child & family health, or other related human services field; LSW considered equivalent.

What we hope you bring to the role:



Experience in child welfare or related field is a plus. Knowledge of child protection laws and regulations.

Certifications or Licensure:



SWA, LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC a plus
