Responsibilities
Prepare and serve nutritious meals to students in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Set up dining areas, including arranging tables and serving stations for meal service
Serve food efficiently and courteously, ensuring all students are attended to with excellent customer service
Support catering or banquet events as needed, helping with food presentation and service logistics
Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, temperature checks, and hygiene practices
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and smooth operation during peak times
Maintain inventory records of food supplies and assist with restocking as necessary
Skills
Experience in food service environments such as fine dining, restaurants, catering, or banquet settings is highly valued
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with children and staff alike
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
Previous dietary aide or food industry experience preferred, including familiarity with food safety standards
Ability to serve efficiently in high-volume settings like school cafeterias or catering events
