Function:
Responsible for coordinating daily client advocacy services, maintaining organized CAC operations, and ensuring families receive consistent, compassionate support from initial intake through case resolution. The Advocate/Office Lead oversees intake scheduling, client records, and service coordination for all children and non-offending caregivers served by WGACAC. Provides direct advocacy and crisis intervention services during and after forensic interviews, assists with Victim Compensation applications, and ensures accurate, confidential documentation in the Collaborate database. Serves as point of contact for families visiting the Center and as an essential member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard Counties.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated empathy and professionalism in working with children and families experiencing trauma.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
No criminal convictions of child abuse or violent crimes.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in victim services, advocacy, or child protection settings.
Knowledge of DFCS, law enforcement, and/or juvenile court procedures.
Familiarity with NCA and CJCC standards for Child Advocacy Centers.
Prior use of Collaborate or other client database systems.
Experience with front-office coordination or administrative oversight.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, and MDT partners entering the CAC.
Conduct client intakes, ensure completion of consent and release forms, and manage service scheduling.
Provide direct advocacy and case management for child victims and their non-offending caregivers.
Support families with safety planning, community referrals, and Victim Compensation applications.
Maintain organized client records and accurate data entry in Collaborate.
Coordinate daily CAC operations including phone calls, scheduling, supplies, and facility readiness.
Ensure confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and CJCC data privacy standards.
Facilitate communication and coordination with DFCS, law enforcement, prosecution, and partner agencies.
Participate in MDT case review meetings and case staffings.
Support forensic interviewers, medical providers, and mental health staff during client appointments.
Assist with data collection, surveys, and reporting requirements for grant compliance.
Represent WGACAC in community outreach, training, and awareness events as assigned.
Attend and participate in staff meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
Occasional travel and evening or weekend hours required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ongoing professional growth and support, formally evaluated by the Executive Director & CAC Program Manager on an annual basis. Opportunities for Professional Growth and goal setting part of all evaluation.
