Childcare Teacher Description:
1. Assist in creating a fun and energetic environment in the classroom.
2. Assist Lead Teacher with preparing materials needed for classroom.
3. Welcome parents and children each morning and evening.
4. Interact and play with children. Sit down and be with them at their level.
5. Make sure the classroom is clean and free from anything that could be a potential danger to the children.
6. Assist the Lead Teacher with daily activities and group play.
7. Assist the Lead Teacher with their specific needs for the age level you are working with.
8. Assist with multiple bathroom breaks and diaper changes.
9. Willing to clean classrooms, toys, and other surfaces daily.
10. Assist in any of our classrooms. We serve children from 6 weeks of age to 6 years old.
Childcare Teacher Requirements:
A childcare teacher must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma, and be willing to be CPR/First Aid certified as well as pass a background check. Some college classes in early childhood education or previous experience in childcare would be preferable. A childcare teacher must be someone who is dependable and has a willingness to assist in a classroom setting.
