Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (willing to train within 90 days of employment)
- Previous experience working with young children
- Negative TB test result
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties assigned by the Lead Teacher and/or Program Director
- Assist in promoting and supervising the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of each child
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality for all school-related information
- Interact with children and parents in a positive, caring, and concerned manner
- Able to independently handle the responsibilities of a group of children, while maintaining a safe environment during group activities
- Willingness and physically capable to walk distances and participate in all learning and playground activities
- Must follow all childcare license rules and regulations
To preform the essential functions of the job, one may be required to maintain a physical condition necessary for sitting and walking for periods of time, climbing, stooping, kneeling, moderate lifting, general manual dexterity, adequate vision, hearing and speech required
