Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will support classroom activities, assist with lesson planning, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with young learners and contribute to their foundational growth in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities



Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, and other early childhood subjects. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and engaging environment conducive to learning and development. Provide attentive care for children, including toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and developmental milestones. Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized strategies and working with specialists when necessary. Help organize classroom materials, prepare learning resources, and assist in setting up educational activities. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to child development. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

Skills



Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories such as Montessori or preschool methodologies. Experience working with children in daycare, private schools, or similar settings; familiarity with classroom experience is preferred. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, and curriculum development strategies. Experience working with children with autism or other disabilities; familiarity with behavior management techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Skills in classroom management and behavior management to foster a positive learning environment. Compassionate approach to working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs; experience working with people with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to early childhood education excellence.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
