We are seeking a talented Chief Financial Officer in Hamilton County Indiana to join our team. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of all Finance and Accounting functions and ensures the accuracy of all financial reporting for the company and a portfolio of senior living apartments and assisted living communities.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements with budget and YTD comparisons.
• Lead the annual tax audit.
• Oversee bank relationships and cash flow analysis.
• Manage insurance relationships.
• Maintain relationships with Trust Officers.
• Monitor and ensure bond covenant compliance.
• Implement and report property KPIs.
• Support the company's mission through sound financial leadership.
• Oversee budgeting and ensure adherence.
• Maintain strong internal controls.
• Apply accounting principles in compliance with FASB and HUD.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting and finance leadership in property management, multifamily, senior living, or construction.
• Proven experience leading an accounting team of 5+ (Controller, Payroll, AP, Property Accounting, etc.).
• Skilled in general ledger reconciliation, consolidations, job costing, budgeting, and lease accounting.
• Proficient with property management software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with solid GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel; able to multitask in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and budgeting.
• Senior living trustee reporting experience.
• Proficient with computers and standard office tools.
• Able to travel and maintain a valid driver's license.
