What You'll Do




Support Lab Operations:

Assist Medical Technologists (MTs) and Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) with a range of laboratory procedures.

Operate Equipment:

Use automated instruments, electronic systems, and precision tools; provide basic troubleshooting as needed.

Ensure Quality:

Participate in proficiency testing and quality assurance initiatives.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate documentation, answer phones professionally, and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Safety First:

Follow established safety and infection control protocols.

Adapt and Grow:

Take on new duties as operational needs evolve and gain valuable experience for future advancement.

Qualifications




High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree or higher preferred. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements




Mobility:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Manual Dexterity:

Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle lab instruments and computer systems.

Lifting:

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Vision & Hearing:

Ability to read and interpret data, identify specimens, and communicate clearly in person and by phone.

Flexibility:

Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to access equipment or supplies.

Attention to Detail:

Sustained concentration for accurate specimen handling and testing.

OSHA Category:

This position involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues. Employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
