Title:

Chemist I

Reports to:

Sr. Chemist

Department:

R&D- Skincare

Responsibilities:

Maintain a lab note book. Make batches. Create ingredient qualitative and quantitative list. Check next day specification from previous day batch. Follow up with on-going stabilities. Communicate with raw material vendors. Attend in-house vendor presentations. Enter formulation into the company formulator. Review results with supervisor. Analyze lab batch measuring physical parameters: Viscosity, pH, and Density.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (or Biology that has had chemistry and organic chemistry classes). Well organized and highly detail oriented. Must work well with others and communicate effectively. Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay range: $55,000 - $58,000 per year Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k match PTO
