Job Description

Standard Design of chemical systems performing chemical engineering functions in the execution of assigned projects

in a cross-functional work team. Summer 2026 Internship.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



? Perform tasks requiring the application of standard chemical engineering techniques and procedures.

? Assist in standard design of chemical systems.

? Correct and update designs.

? Assist lead engineers on project related concerns.

? Analyze and resolve a range of engineering problems.

? Understand, support, and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures.

? Function as part of a design team and utilize engineering design.

? Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.

? Ability to manage and execute small projects as assigned.

? Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

? Current Standing as a Junior or Senior student actively enrolled in an accredited Chemical Engineering (or

related) Undergraduate Program

Minimum 3.0 GPA required (submit unofficial transcript)

Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred

Strong technical, writing, problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to follow directions and work tasks through completion

Detailed oriented with an emphasis on quality work products

Position is located in a chemical processing facility and may require working different shifts

Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the US.

(i.e. without limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship)

This position requires the incumbent to:



? Follow safety requirements for the role

? Wear required PPE (eye protection, noise protection, etc.) when inside plant environment, or where directed by

signage

Lift up to 10 pounds

Walk safely in and around industrial areas

Work under deadline pressure within an environment that demands attention to safety and detail

Sit or stand for extended periods of time

Work at computer for significant periods of time throughout the day
