Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and mixing raw materials to create batches of products according to established formulas and specifications. This role requires adherence to strict quality standards and compliance with CGMP regulations, ensuring that all products meet safety and quality requirements.

$20-$22/hr

Duties

Prepare and mix raw materials following precise formulations to produce batches of product. Operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment, including mixers and packaging machines. Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Document batch production processes accurately in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste using lean manufacturing principles. Assist in materials handling, including receiving, storing, and organizing raw materials in the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to machining, packaging, and laboratory processes.

Requirements

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; familiarity with batch processing is a plus. Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is highly desirable. Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is beneficial. Laboratory experience is an asset for understanding product formulations. Strong skills in materials handling, including the ability to lift and move heavy items safely. Previous experience in machining or warehouse operations is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
