Duties
Develop and plan diverse menus that align with the establishment's concept, including fine dining and catering options.
Lead food preparation activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to foster a motivated and skilled team.
Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste while maintaining freshness and availability of ingredients.
Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper handling procedures.
Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals in large-scale settings.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment adhering to sanitation standards at all times.
Manage food costs, portion control, and inventory management to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
Support restaurant management by contributing to menu planning, customer service strategies, and overall guest satisfaction.
Lead by example in food service management, demonstrating excellent cooking skills, hospitality, and leadership qualities.
Skills
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments.
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
