Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production, food handling, and food safety compliance.
Plan and develop innovative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and guest preferences.
Oversee daily food preparation activities, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes.
Manage inventory control and stock levels to minimize waste while maintaining sufficient supplies for smooth service.
Coordinate catering events and banquet functions, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service.
Supervise kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering a positive team environment.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and health regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff rotations and managing labor costs efficiently.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure excellent food service and guest satisfaction.
Implement inventory management procedures to track usage and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Lead by example in culinary techniques such as cooking, food presentation, and plating to inspire excellence within the team.
Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs and ensuring proper food handling protocols are followed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills and a passion for excellence.
Extensive background in food production, catering, banquet service, and restaurant management.
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams effectively in high-volume settings.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control procedures.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations across the food industry.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff development.
Skilled in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and kitchen management practices.
Experience with shift management, food service operations, and hospitality industry standards.
