Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating innovative menus. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining a cohesive team environment while upholding our commitment to excellence in hospitality and food service. Pay will be based off talent.

Duties



Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other culinary team members Plan and develop diverse menus with a focus on fine dining and special events Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality standards are met Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards and have current certification Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Supervise dietary department activities when applicable, ensuring special dietary needs are met Coordinate with event planners and management for large-scale functions Train new staff members and provide ongoing professional development opportunities Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold safety standards Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and customer feedback

Experience



Proven experience in fine dining environments preferred Supervisory experience managing culinary teams in a high-volume setting Strong background in food production, food handling, and kitchen management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and food service management Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Background in restaurant management or hospitality is highly desirable Skilled in menu planning, shift management, and culinary innovation Extensive culinary experience including cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen operations
