The Chef is responsible for all meals served at a drug and alcohol rehab facility in Rio Rancho. This is a
FULL-TIME
position for an experienced chef. Regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, with only rare evening or weekend shifts as needed. There is
ABSOLUTELY
no drug use, except medical cannabis. The Chef will manage a sous chef as well as a team of clients who will assist in prep, serving, dishwashing and cleaning. Paying close attention to portion sizes and recipes to meet budget is
MANDATORY.
Job Requirements:
5-10 years kitchen experience with at least 2 years supervisory or managerial experience
Culinary degree or certificate preferred
Portion control, Inventory and Ordering experience is a MUST
ServSafe Manager Certification is required within 30 days of start date
Must pass drug screen and background check
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have legal rights to work in the United States
Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation
Must have knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and procedures
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening and drug screening
