Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and presentation in all dining settings, including fine dining and catering events Develop and plan menus that balance creativity with dietary requirements, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices Coordinate shift schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate new recipes and improve existing dishes for diverse menus Maintain high standards of food handling, preparation, and service to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Skills



Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments Proven supervising experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced settings Knowledge of dietary restrictions and experience working within dietary departments or special diet requirements Expertise in food production, menu planning, and food service management Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members Excellent inventory management skills including inventory control and food handling procedures Familiarity with kitchen management systems, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and presentation Experience in restaurant management or food industry operations is highly desirable
