We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, culinary arts, and team leadership. This role requires expertise in menu planning, food production, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef Manager, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service and delicious meals.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
Manage inventory control and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
Monitor food production processes to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Manage shift schedules to optimize staffing levels during peak times.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Qualifications
Two years of experience in a Back-of-House (BOH) leadership role
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Expertise in menu planning, food production, and restaurant management.
Familiarity with inventory management practices and cost control measures.
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts and hospitality.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills for effective team collaboration.
