Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management, with experience in fine dining and banquet services. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste to maintain cost efficiency. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy shifts. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages growth and development. Develop creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Assist in shift management, ensuring all kitchen operations run smoothly during service hours. Engage with guests to provide exceptional hospitality and address any dietary needs or preferences.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably within fine dining or banquet services. Strong knowledge of food management practices, including food safety standards and inventory control. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering collaboration and communication. Experience in menu planning and development, showcasing creativity in dish presentation and flavor profiles. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
