Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of food service management, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to food safety and quality.

Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Plan and design menus that cater to diverse dietary needs while maintaining creativity and seasonal relevance. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through effective inventory management practices. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. Coordinate catering services for special events, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service. Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation across all dishes. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to enhance the overall dining experience for guests. Maintain effective communication with staff regarding shift management and operational needs.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a culinary role within fine dining or restaurant settings. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff. Familiarity with dietary department operations and catering services is preferred. Expertise in food handling, preparation, cooking techniques, and food service management. Knowledge of inventory management practices and cost control measures within the kitchen environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is highly desirable; banquet experience is a plus.
