Chef
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and creative Chef to prepare nutritious and delicious meals for a daycare center serving 50+ children. The ideal candidate will have experience cooking for young children and be able to create breakfast, lunch, and snacks in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks for 50+ students
Make fresh baby purees and age-appropriate meals for infants
Create child-friendly, nutritious, and appealing meals
Plan weekly menus with creativity and variety
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Maintain a clean, safe, and loving kitchen atmosphere
Manage grocery shopping with reliable transportation
Follow and maintain a set food budget
Ensure all meals meet safety and nutritional guidelines
Qualifications:
Experience cooking for children, including preparing fresh baby purees
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and stay productive
Creativity in menu planning and meal presentation
Reliable transportation for shopping and errands
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
