Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
Develop and plan diverse menus that align with restaurant standards and customer preferences
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence
Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen operations
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen
Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff, and overseeing daily operations
Supervise catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and customer satisfaction
Train new team members in food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques
Collaborate with management on menu innovation, pricing strategies, and service improvements
Skills
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments
Proven leadership and team management skills with experience supervising kitchen staff
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory management, and food handling procedures
Excellent menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management abilities
Experience in restaurant management, shift coordination, and food service operations
Skilled in inventory control, cost management, and resource allocation within a culinary setting
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Exceptional communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team and coordinate with other departments
