Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cheer Coordinator/Coach for our cheer camps/leagues.

The ideal candidate is a self motivator and will have a passion for cheerleading, education, and mentorship for kids and will need minimum oversight in this cheer coordinator/coach position. This role will provide valuable experience to youth in our cheer program as a Cheer Coach / Coordinator for Safari Sports

Duties

Provide and teach cheer curriculum during cheer camp/league. Interact with parents and cheerleaders. Weekly communication with safari sports admin team providing updates on cheer sessions, planning, staffing changes or any uodates/changes as it pertains to safari sports. If selected for lead cheer coordinator / coach position: must communicate on parent group with weekly interaction + cheer preparation video for cheerleaders to work on. Provide information to safari admin to help expand the cheer program throughout training , weekly meetings & throughout cheer camp/league.

Requirements

Strong background in sports coaching or physical education; experience in lifeguarding is a plus. Proficiency in teaching or coaching basketball, martial arts (Karate, Judo), swimming, or climbing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire young individuals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative. Passion for cheer and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for cheerleaders.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Our cheer sessions includes pre k - 1st grade in 1st session and 2nd - 5th grade with possible middle school in the 2nd session. Are you able to create and provide a cheer curriculum for each week of cheer camp / league? Please list the cheer experience you have such as tumbling , dance routines , stunts , chants , motions , etc ? We have 1 weekly meeting each week during our cheer camps /leagues that last 10-20 minutes to discuss upcoming plans with our cheer team for upcoming cheer session. Are you ok with this ? Please provide us with the reason why we should select you ? What days are you available during the week days between 6pm - 8pm & what time frames are you available on Saturdays for cheer sessions? What surrounding cities are you also will to help as a cheer coach for our cheer leagues & cheer camps ? This not an hourly paid position. This is a contract/independent contractor position. We pay our cheer coaches based on each cheer session. This position pay per session is between $20 - $30 per session. Are you okay with this? Our Arlington Cheer League are on Sundays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
Mansfield cheer league is 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
